Vietnam Tour 12 days

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (-)

Arrive in Hanoi, where you will be welcomed by your guide and driver before transferring to your hotel. Free time to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - Lao Cai (B.L)

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. After lunch, explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Quan Thanh Temple, and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Enjoy a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter, followed by a walking tour of Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and St. Joseph's Cathedral. End the day with a traditional water puppet show. Then, transfer to Hanoi Railway Station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train in an air-conditioned four-berth cabin with soft-sleeper beds.

Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa - Hiking (B.L)

Arrive in Lao Cai at 6:00 a.m., where you will be welcomed and transferred to a hotel near Lao Cai Railway Station for a shower, a short rest and breakfast. Then drive through the spectacular landscapes of Lao Cai to Sapa, passing mountains, valleys, terraced rice fields and ethnic villages, with several stops for photos and local encounters.

Then, enjoy a scenic trek through Muong Hoa Valley, visiting Black H’mong and Giay villages to discover their daily life, traditions and handicrafts. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue the hike through beautiful rice terraces, bamboo forests and peaceful minority villages. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Hiking in Sapa (B.L)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Ban Khoang Village, home to the Blue H’mong people. Enjoy a scenic trek through terraced rice fields, streams and traditional villages. Lunch will be served as a picnic or at a local homestay. Continue trekking to Ta Giang Phinh Village, inhabited by the Red Dao community, to learn about their daily life and traditional activities. Return to Sapa, then transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station for the overnight train to Hanoi. Dinner at your own expense. Overnight on the train in an air-conditioned four-berth soft-sleeper cabin.

Day 5: Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B.L)

Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning, at approximately 4:30–5:00 a.m. You will be welcomed and transferred to a nearby hotel for a shower, a short rest and breakfast. Then, depart for Ninh Binh and enjoy a two-hour sampan cruise through spectacular karst landscapes, peaceful waterways and rice fields. After lunch, hike to the Hang Mua Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views over Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 6: Ninh Binh – Lan Ha Bay Cruise (B.L.D)

Drive to Lan Ha Bay and board a traditional wooden cruise for a two-day, one-night journey. Enjoy lunch on board, cruise through the limestone islands, visit a beautiful cave, and relax amidst the peaceful scenery. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7: Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B.L)

Start the day with sunrise over the bay. Continue cruising, explore the Tunnel Cave by rowing boat, and sail through the quieter areas of Lan Ha Bay. After brunch, disembark and transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue Imperial City Tour (B.L)

Visit the Imperial Citadel, the former royal residence of the Nguyen Dynasty. After lunch, explore the Royal Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, the incense-making village of Thuy Xuan, and Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 9: Hue – Hai Van Pass – Hoi An (B.L)

Travel to Hoi An via the scenic Hai Van Pass, stopping at Lang Co Beach for stunning coastal views. After lunch, discover the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town of Hoi An, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Hall, and Phung Hung Ancient House. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An – Tra Que - Ho Chi Minh City (B.L)

Visit Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village and experience local farming activities alongside friendly farmers. Learn traditional cultivation techniques. Transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. After lunch, visit Dong Khoi Street, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, the Central Post Office, Cholon (Chinatown), Thien Hau Temple, and Tan Dinh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B.L)

Travel to the Mekong Delta and enjoy a private boat cruise through the canals. Visit floating fish farms, local islands, coconut candy workshops, and traditional handicraft villages. Ride a horse cart through the countryside, taste honey tea, and take a sampan trip along narrow canals before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – Departure (B.L)

Visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary underground network used during the Vietnam War. After lunch, enjoy free time until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of services.
