Excursion to Cai Be 1 Day

Depart for Cai Be, where you board a traditional boat to begin your exploration of the Mekong Delta. Cruise along the peaceful waterways to visit a local workshop producing traditional coconut candies and other regional specialties.

Continue your journey to Tan Phong Islet, gliding through narrow canals lined with lush tropical vegetation. Visit Mr. Chin's family home, where you are warmly welcomed with tea, homemade jam, and local cakes. Learn about the daily life of the island's residents while enjoying a live performance of Đờn Ca Tài Tử, the traditional folk music of Southern Vietnam recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The excursion continues to Mr. Hang's fruit orchard, where you can stroll through the gardens, admire the abundant tropical fruits, and enjoy freshly picked seasonal fruits straight from the trees. Adventurous travelers may also test their balance by crossing the famous Southern Vietnamese "Monkey Bridge."
